There are several women out there that could just help keep a man company, but getting to choose the right one to settle down with could really be a Herculean task for men. Falling in love is quite different from being infatuated because the feelings you get are real and not fake; they are selfless and not selfish.

Men can be nasty, unfaithful and full of packs of tricks sometimes when it comes to relationship especially when they are keeping a woman to while away time. They could keep multiple partners at the same time and successfully hide them from one another. They sometimes deliberately hurt the feelings of the women that they are supposed to treat with care, affection and compassion.

More often than not, men are in a hurry to go to bed with the woman they are infatuated with. They don’t care whether her feelings would be hurt or not. They are in a kind of hit-and-run position. Once they have what they wanted, they are gone because the whole thing was never real.

However, a guy who has genuine love for a lady would show it consciously or unconsciously. When you see the following signs in a guy you would know he’s truly in love with a woman:
1. She makes a lasting impression on his mind: The image of the lady sticks in his mind and refuses to be erased just like any other before her arrival. Something deep inside him tells him that this particular one is different from the others. The more he tries to get rid of the feelings the more it sticks. He becomes aware he does not have the same feelings for the rest of the ladies in his life.
2. He doesn’t want to hurt her: He deliberately decides not to hurt her feelings. He is now conscious about her likes and dislikes and makes conscientious effort not to do a thing that could break the relationship or keep her far away from him. He is now mindful not to break her heart. He treats her with tender, loving care. He sees her as a rare gem worthy of protection and preservation and becomes prepared to reappraise his life to see if there is anything repugnant in his life that could make her withdraw from him. He is ready to do any positive thing to keep her.
3. He Keeps his distance from other women: He is now convinced he wants to keep the relationship and so he makes up his mind to abstain from other women in order to keep her. Since she is the object of his love, he is willing to lose several unwanted, unloved women just to stay with her alone. He is no longer at ease in company of other women and doesn’t even want to be seen with them. He is now comfortable with just one lady. It shows he is truly in love if he decides to sacrifice other relationships in order to keep her.
